Clerk Russelburg called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

Motion by Trustee Pelc that Trustee Terhune be the acting Supervisor and conduct the meeting. Second by Treasurer Courtney.

1. Appeal on Water District 2


Attorney McNamee gave an update on the pending appeal on Water District 2. No motion required.



2. Water District 2A Update


Motion by Treasurer Courtney to change the date on the fax from Dave Lewandowski on the Notice to Proceed to DiPonio from June 4, 2008, to June 18, 2008, when the funds are available from the County. Second by Clerk Russelburg.

3. Treasurer’s Recommendation for Deposit of CD’s


Motion by Clerk Russelburg to accept the recommendation of the Treasurer and invest the monies as stated in her outline of which goes to which bank with the desire to stagger the due dates. Second by Trustee Pelc.

4. Adopt Resolution 2008-11 - Township Investment & Depository


Motion by Trustee Pelc to adopt Resolution 2008-11 and pass the depositories as described by Treasurer Courtney. Second by Clerk Russelburg.

9. County DPW Update - Macomb Road & Gravel Haul


Trustee Pelc gave an update on the County DPW. No motion required.



10. Board of Compensation Commission


Motion by Trustee Pelc that the Local Officials Compensation Ordinance be supported by the Cottrellville Township Board as outlined by Attorney McNamee. Second by Treasurer Courtney.

11. Request to Purchase Envelopes

13. Electrical Inspector Request to Attend R.E.C.I. Education Meeting

15. Bill Klaassen Request to Attend Oakland County Building Officials Association Seminar


Motion by Clerk Russelburg to approve Bill Klaassen to attend the Performing Structural Plan Review all-day seminar on June 26, 2008, with reimbursement for the registration fee and mileage. Second by Treasurer Courtney.

16. Community Foundation Grant for Bridge to the Bay Trail


Motion by Clerk Russelburg to release the grant money and send a letter to the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan stating the date and time of the meeting and the action taken which would be the release of the money. Second by Treasurer Courtney.

17. Addition of Two Trustees to the Board


Trustee Pelc requested the Board to consider the addition of two trustees to the Board when the threshold criteria is met. No motion required.
