MINUTES OF THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED

MEETING FOR JULY 6TH, 2009 AT 7:00 P.M.



The regularly scheduled meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, by Chairperson, Mary Agnes Simons and attendance taken.


2. ATTENDANCE:


Members present: Michelle Davis, E. Sue Terhune, Vickie Perreman,

and Mary Agnes Simons.


Members absent: Stefano Casadei, Excused; Jynil Schneider.


SPECIAL GUEST: RICHARD VANDERWORP, SPARE PARTS CAR CLUB


Mr. Vanderworp explained what their car club expects when they are on

display. We agreed to advertise in the paper, not charge for registration

and give a prize for the winner by the people who attend and vote. He will

have his group attend the Annual Township Picnic.


3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:


No minutes were prepared by the Secretary for the June 8th, meeting. These were tabled until August meeting.


  1. AGENDA APPROVAL –none.


  1. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Since there was no one in the audience, there were no comments.


  1. TREASURER’S REPORT:

Vickie Perreman passed out her latest report for month ending 06-30-09.

ACTION: Moved by Terhune, supported by Simons to receive and file the

treasurer’s report. All ayes. Motion Carried.


  1. PLANNING FOR ANNUAL TOWNSHIP PICNIC:


Michelle Davis explained the program, advising the advertising will be in a

ad in the Voice Newspaper, she will give the details to the paper for their

design, she will prepare the flyers, 50 of which will go to Mr. Vanderworp.

The flyers she will e-mail to Sue and she will take care of it with Dian

Courtney, Treasurer & editor of the Twp Newsletter. Michelle will place

the order for hot dogs & buns, mustard, ketchup, relish, chips, cookies, water, juice, gloves, napkins, cups, hot dog boats & kool pops, from GFS in Chesterfield Twp. Mary Agnes Simons will pickup and place in Twp Hall refrigerator on the Friday before, (July 24th).


Simons will get swimming pool and bags of ice, and gas card gift certificates for the first and second place winners of the classic cars and

the antique tractors.


Perreman will get stuffed animals from the dollar store for one of the games being Pet Rescue, Davis will bring some of the games from her regular stash, Schneider will help with the games too.


Simons will apply for the Health Department permit for the food handling

obtaining the items required, meet the Health Inspector & see the fee is

paid for by the Clerk. Ed Terhune and Don & Sybil Chopp will be the hot dog chefs. Simons will order 3,500 sheets of orange paper for the flyers.


Simons will handle the purchase of the Banner, and have her husband

Wes Simons, build a sign that can be placed on the corner of the Twp

Hall to advise people driving past the hall on Marsh Road of the “Park

Event this Sunday.”


Everyone has their job, and with no further business the meeting was

adjourned at 8:45 p.m. Your next meeting is scheduled for Monday,

August 10th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
