4. Approval of Minutes: Minutes of February 24^th, 2010

Motion to accept minutes: Bill Jenuwine

5. Agenda Approval—no changes

6. Communications:

a.) Memorandum handed out: Special Land Use Application for

1075 Roberts Road.

b.) ZBA Public Hearing April 21^st, 2010 for a new garage

requiring a variance for additional 300’ of area and a variance

requesting 2.6’ more in height at 7985 River Road.

7. Old Business:

a.) Outdoor Wood Burners: Discussed and reviewed 3 Samples

Plan on customizing/adopting and further review Purpose from Article II, Kalamazoo, MI. and Outdoor Burning, Open Burning and Wood-Fired Boiler Ordinance from

Township of Negaunee, MI

b.) First Review of Sample Language for “Grading and Drainage

Regulations Ordinance” will be discussed at next Planning Meeting (April 28^th, 2010).

8.) New Business:

a.) Renewable Wind Sources—Wind Generators Ordinance”

Public Hearing changed to May 26^th, 2010 at 7:15 pm.

9.) Public Comments: George raised the question of how

the Township could be pro active dealing with conforming to

ordinances.

10.) Adjournment: 8:39 p.m.
